Paula’s calm and nurturing demeanor quickly relaxed me and we built a lovely report. After an initial intensive consult, Paula devised a carefully considered plan for me to follow. During the follow up consultations, Paula guided, educated and encouraged me to continue with the changes necessary to improve my mental and physical wellbeing. I am amazed by the difference my life has taken since I have been seeing Paula.

When I initially saw Paula, I was feeling really depressed, I was bloated, had a very sensitive stomach and very loose stools up to six times per day and had nausea and headaches which kept me awake at night. I was also frequently going to the toilet during the night and not getting a good night’s rest.

Paula is extremely knowledgeable and professional yet friendly in her delivery and rapport with me. I started on a strict FODMAP diet which was very restrictive in the beginning but within 2 weeks I started to notice small differences in my gut. There were no more gurgling noises, I wasn’t going to the toilet as frequently and I started feeling better within myself.

I stuck to the FODMAP diet for 8 weeks until Paula started re-introducing foods and seeing what the reaction was like. She provided information and advice every step of the way and provided delicious recipes which I still use today.

I now am eating more “normal” foods but steer clear of gluten and eat vegetables at every meal and love my morning smoothies with kale, spinach and a few dates. I am sleeping really well and have more energy. As a bonus, I have lost weight, no more bloating and people have commented how well I look.

Paula is passionate about her field and this is evident to see and it has been a life changing experience for me.

I would not hesitate to recommend anyone with similar symptoms of IBS to gain some valuable advice and help from Paula. Stick with the diet and the results are worth it.
